This is my submission for Trish's contest.
 This photo was taken at the Art Institute of San Francisco and I manipulated it to put a personal twist on it. I'm a photographer that draws her inspiration from a few sources- the main ones being my God Mother and Cindy Sherman. My God Mother, Pam-Anela (pictured) has always supported me in my artistic endeavors and it was her that- long ago- sent me this amazing book on the life and work of Cindy Sherman. The photos she's looking at are mine, and other photographers and artists that inspire me (I placed them there through photo manipulation). It's hard to pick one. My friends, my husband, dancing, living- it's pretty much all there. The photo itself reminds me of a Sherman piece- even if it's not a self portrait. I suppose Pam-Anela is my Cindy Sherman. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
